Discover the most beautiful Castles of Posavje, from April 10 to 17
A press conference was held today, March 31, 2026, in the interactive room of Castles of Posavje, in the Tourist Information Center (TIC) of Terme Čatež, to present the first Festival of Castles of Posavje.
The Festival will take place between April 10 and 17, 2026 at eight exceptional locations across the Posavje region, connecting cultural heritage and modern experiences and bringing together eight locations: Brežice Castle, Rajhenburg Castle, Sevnica Castle, Božidar Jakac Gallery, Mokrice Castle, Podsreda Castle, Kunšperk and Svibno. Together, they form a comprehensive story of the region and offer visitors a diverse and high-quality program throughout the entire festival week.
This year’s festival represents the first joint Festival of Castles of the Posavje, with the ambition to become traditional. You can see the full festival program here, and here is a separate program that will take place on Tuesday, April 14th at Mokrice Castle.
